Veg Manchurian is an addictive Indo-Chinese dish made with wisps of vegetables formed into dumplings and dunked into a sauce that explodes with hot, sweet, sour and salty flavors. It’s a dish you’ll be treating yourself to again and again.
Vegan, nut-free and can be gluten-free. Indo-Chinese food has a long history in India, and one of its most delicious chapters is doubtlessly the manchurian.
This dish of vegetable dumplings in a glossy, rich-brown sauce with bold notes of tangy, sweet, spicy and salty is impossible to resist and I can honestly say I’ve never met a man, woman or child who could walk away from a plateful. In fact, if you ask an Indian what his or her favorite Indo-Chinese dish is, chances are, it would be a Veg Manchurian.

Now, how to make Manchurian easily at home using bread, well given below are the
ingredients and instructions :-
INGREDIENTS
For Manchurian Balls:
● 4 slice bread, brown / white
● 1 cup cabbage, finely chopped
● 1⁄2 cup carrot, grated
● 1⁄2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
● 1⁄2 tsp ginger garlic paste
● 1⁄4 cup corn flour
● 1⁄4 tsp salt
● 2 tbsp water
● oil for deep frying
Other Ingredients:
● 3 tsp oil
● 3 clove garlic, finely chopped
● 1 chilli, slit
● 1 onion, finely chopped
● 1 capsicum, sliced
● 2 tbsp tomato sauce
● 1 tsp red chilli powder
● 1 tbsp vinegar
● 1 tbsp soy sauce
● 1⁄4 tsp pepper, crushed
● 1⁄4 tsp salt
● 1 tsp corn flour
● 1⁄4 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Firstly, cut 2 bread slices into four pieces and transfer to a blender.
2. Blend to a fine powder (breadcrumbs) without adding any water.
3. Transfer the prepared bread crumbs into a large mixing bowl.
4. Also add 1 cup cabbage, 1⁄2 cup carrot, 1⁄2 tsp chilli powder and 1⁄2 tsp ginger garlic paste.
5. Further add 1⁄4 cup corn flour, 1⁄4 tsp salt and 2 tbsp water.
6. Combine by squeezing out cabbage well and form a dough.
7. Now grease hands with oil and prepare round sized small balls.
8. Deep fry in hot oil till it turns golden brown.
9. Now in a large kadai heat 3 tsp oil and saute 3 clove garlic, 1 green chilli.
10. Also saute 1 onion finely chopped.
11. Additionally, add sliced capsicum and saute well.
12. Further add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tsp red chilli powder , 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp soy
sauce, 1⁄4 tsp pepper and 1⁄4 tsp salt.
13. Mix on high flame till the sauce thickens.
14. Further, prepare corn flour slurry by mixing 1 tsp cornflour water in 1⁄4 cup water.
15. Get to a boil by mixing continuously until the gravy slightly thickens and turns glossy.
16. Now add fried manchurian balls and mix gently.
17. Finally, manchurian is ready to serve.
