Soya manchurian is basically an adapted version of chinese cooking and technique meeting the indian taste standards and tastes buds. Very similar to manchurian recipe from the popular indo chinese cuisine, even this recipe is prepared in 2 stages, including deep frying and tossing with chinese sauces.

INGREDIENTS
For Deep Fry -
● Soya
● 1 tsp, Red Chilli Powder
● 1 tsp, Salt
● 1 tsp, Black Pepper
● 2 tbsp, Curd / Yogurt
● 2 tbsp, Oil / Ghee
● 3 tbsp, Maida / All Purpose Flour
For Gravy -
● 3 tbsp, Oil / Ghee
● 4 cloves, Garlic {grated}
● 1 Onion {chopped}
● 1 Capsicum {chopped}
● 1 Green Chilli {Slit}
● 1 Tomato {chopped}
● 1 tbsp, Black Pepper
● 1 tsp, Salt
● 1 tbsp, Red Chilli Powder
● 2 tbsp, Soya Sauce
● 1 tbsp, Vinegar
● 2 tbsp, Tomato Ketchup
● 3 tbsp, Cornflour
● 3 tbsp, Water
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Firstly, boil Soya chunks in hot water for 5-8 minutes.
2. Next pour them into a large mixing bowl and let them cool for some time.
3. Now add 1 tsp of red chilli powder, into the bowl along with 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp black
pepper, 2 tbsp Curd, 2 tbsp oil and last 3 tbsp of maida.
4. Mix well and fry on a medium high flame.{ add Soya one at a time to avoid stickiness}
5. Now take a pan / kadhai and add 3 tbsp of oil along with 4 cloves of grated garlic
and saute well.
6. Next add chopped onion, 1 capsicum, 3 green chilli slit and saute well.
7. Further add 1 chopped tomato, 1 tbsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp red chilli
powder and saute.
8. Add 2 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp tomato ketchup and saute well.
9. Next add 3 tbsp of cornflour into a cup along with 4 tbsp of water and mix well to
avoid lumps.
10. Now add cornflour mixture into the pan to form gravy and mix until it turns glossy.
11. Lastly, add fried Soya chunks and mix well.
12. Finally, serve soya manchurian in a plate.
