Crispy potato fingers with detailed video recipe. A lip-smacking finger food prepared mainly from boiled potatoes and yogurt. It is an ideal deep fried party starter which can be prepared within minutes without much hassle. These crispy potato finger food, not only appeals to kids but also to adults.
Can be made very simply at home as evening snacks.

Now how to make potato fingers, here give below is the complete and easy instructions with

ingredients :-

 

INGREDIENTS

● 1⁄2 cup rava / semolina /suji (roasted)

● 1⁄4th cup curd / yogurt

● 3 potato (aloo) boiled & mashed

● 2 green chilli, finely chopped

● 1 tbsp garlic paste

● 1⁄2 tsp chaat masala

● 1⁄2 tbsp cumin powder (jeera powder)

● 1⁄4th tbsp black pepper, crushed

● 1⁄2 tbsp salt

● 1⁄4 th cup corn flour

● 1⁄2 tbsp chilli powder

● Oil for deep frying


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Firstly, add 1cup suji / rava(roasted) into a large mixing bowl.

2. Further, add 1⁄2 cup of curd and mix well.

3. Let it soak for 15 minutes.

4. To the same bowl add 3 mashed potatoes along with 1⁄2 tsp chaat masala, 1⁄2 tbsp jeera

(cumin) powder, 1tbsp salt, 1tbsp garlic paste, 1⁄4 tbsp black pepper,1⁄2 tbsp chilli powder.

5. Next, combine (mix) well to form a dough.

6. Take a small ball sized dough making sure to grease your hand to avoid stickiness.

7. Make it cylindrical into finger length.

8. Roll in cornflour for extra crispiness.

9. Deep fry in hot oil.

10. Stir occasionally, keeping the flame at medium.

11. Fry till the potato fingers turn crispy and golden brown.

12. Drain over a kitchen towel/ napkin to absorb excess oil.

13. Finally, serve crispy potato fingers with tomato sauce.
