Chilli Paneer Recipe || Restaurant Style Paneer Chilli Recipe || How to make chilli paneer




Make restaurant style Chilli Paneer at home with this step by step recipe. Paneer (Indian cottage cheese) is tossed in a flavorful spicy sauce made with soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar. Tastes great with fried rice or noodles. There are two types of chilli paneer that are popular in India – the dry version which is served as an appetizer and the gravy version which is eaten as a main course with rice or noodles. Here we are sharing a semi-dry version with you guys today. It has a little sauce and you can serve it as an appetizer or even as a main course.

Now, chilli paneer can be made easily with the help in ingredients and instructions given below

 

INGREDIENTS

For paneer pakoda

● 250gms paneer / cottage cheese

● 5tbsp maida / all purpose flour

● 4 tsp oil

For gravy

● 3tbsp ghee / oil

● 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped

● 1 onion, finely chopped

● 3 green chilli, slit

● 2 capsicum, chopped evenly

● 2 tbsp vinegar

● 2 tbsp soy sauce

● 1 tbsp chilli sauce

● 1⁄2 tsp pepper, crushed

● 1⁄2 tsp salt

● 2 tbsp corn flour

● 11⁄2 cup water


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Firstly, cut paneer into cubes. To a large bowl, add 5 tablespoons of maida / all purpose

flour.

2. Now add the paneer cubes into the maida and coat well.

3. Further dip cubes of paneer / cottage cheese and fry in about 4 tbsp of hot oil.

4. Drain off the fried paneer onto a kitchen paper / napkin and keep aside.

5. Prepare the gravy by heating 3tbsp oil and saute 6 cloves garlic.

6. Also add 1 onion and 3 green chilli and saute well.

7. Furthermore add 3 capsicum (green) and saute slightly.

8. Additionally, add 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp chilli sauce, 1⁄2 tsp pepper and

1⁄2 tsp salt.

9. Saute on high flame till the sauce thickens.

10. Pour 2tbsp of corn flour and 11⁄2 cup water and stir continuously.

11. Add in fried paneer.

12. Finally, serve chilli paneer gravy recipe.
